![]() ![]() Not all printer papers specify a finish, but there are actually many different types of paper beyond size and brightness. This will lead to a whiter paper overall, and better, more true to color prints, especially if you are printing inserts with color on them! Paper Finish The highest brightness you can get for your paper, the better off you’ll be. If you’ve ever seen dull paper that looks more off-white than white, you know exactly what I mean. Paper brightness is measured from 0 to 100 and just like it sounds- is a measure of how bright the paper is. It is much easier to print first, then trim. In my experience, my printer doesn’t always do well printing on these smaller sized pages, and they can also be harder to find. A lot of people may be tempted to look for pre-sized paper that is actually A5 size or whatever size they are going for. Most of the time, when you are purchasing a printable off of say, Etsy, the seller will include trim lines so that you can print any size page you need onto letter size paper and easily trim it down to size. #Happy planner studio how toIt’s easier to find that paper size here, and easier to print with, and there are so many tutorials online on how to resize letter size PDF files to fit different sizes of planners, such as the one I shared here about how to resize printables for the Happy Planner. I always recommend just using a regular US letter size paper if you are in the US. But, the short answer to what is the best paper for planner inserts- is any 28-32 lb paper! What Size Paper? 32 lb paper is my favorite paper, and the best paper for planner inserts. I aim for at least a 28 lb paper, they are a little easier to find, or when I can find it, a 32 lb paper. and you just won’t get those nicely printed inserts. Standard copy paper is 20 lb., but that’s a really thin paper for planner inserts, because then you have issues like pens bleeding through, etc. I’d love to know if you frankenplan, and what all you include in yours. When it comes to looking at paper type for your planner inserts, you are going to want a higher paper weight. There you have it, my frankenplanner Happy Planner for 2019. I don’t find that I do a lot of planning more than a month or so in advance, and if I do I typically add it to my Google calendar, so I think this will work out great. #Happy planner studio plusYou could essentially use this planner on its own, it has a place for to-do’s for the day, plus all of the fitness and health stuff included, too, but I’m going to use that section to write how I’m feeling each day, something I’m grateful for when it comes to my health, etc…įor the other months of each of these planners, I’m going to tuck them in somewhere safe and then on the 1st of each month, I’ll swap out the past month for the next one in line. I’ve previously talked about using the Erin Condren Wellness Log this year, but I kept coming back to the Healthy Hero, and I’ll do a post soon on the differences and why I chose this planner over the other. I had my eye on this planner for a while. Then, new to my planner collection, I’ve added three months of the Healthy Hero Happy Planner for fitness. Next, I’ve got three months of my Hourly Happy Planner for work. I’ll share the files for my clear dividers in Happy Planner sizes when I get them made, too, so stay tuned for that. Those dividers will be for sections for my cleaning printables and meal planning printables. This section is for home, my boys’ schedules, housekeeping things like meal plans and cleaning, etc… I’m going to add some clear dividers to this section, like these I made here. ![]() So here I’ve started with 3 months of my seasonal Classic Vertical Happy Planner. You can see a video flip through of this over on my Youtube below. I may end up setting up some different dividers, but I really like how easy it is to flip to each section with the covers included. So, I decided to include three months of each planner in one book at a time, using the covers for dividers. This post contains affiliate links and I do earn a small commission if you purchase through these links. I’m using a regular vertical classic happy planner, an hourly classic happy planner, and I also just picked up the Healthy Hero Happy Planner for fitness! So, I wanted to combine all three of these planners onto one, plus have space for my printables and extra notes pages, to create my own Happy Planner Frankenplanner. Okay guys, so I talked about how I’m using multiple planners and while I love using multiple planners, I don’t love having to use multiple planners- does that make sense? I have seen a few videos of people “frankenplanning” in their planners, and my wheels started turning. ![]()
